Our properties ,top notch guides, and experience help us achieve that goal season after season. We hunt private properties leased exclusively by us. Our Canada goose hunts take place from pit blinds in dry fields or over water from permanent blinds. Duck hunts take place from blinds on irrigation reservoirs or pit blinds in dry fields. Our Spring snow goose hunts are from a pit with a permanent set of full bodies and shell decoys consisting of several thousand, or a mobile windsock type spread to adjust with the birds.

Hunt Rates:

Geese

  • $350 per gun per day

Ducks

  • $300 per gun per half-day

Hunt Style:

We hunt private properties leased exclusively by us. Our Canada goose hunts take place from pit blinds in dry fields or over water from permanent blinds. Duck hunts take place from blinds on irrigation reservoirs or pit blinds in dry fields. Our Spring snow goose hunts are from a pit with a permanent set of full bodies and shell decoys consisting of several thousand, or a mobile windsock type spread to adjust with the birds.

Common species targeted:

  • Canada geese- several subspecies

  • Ducks- puddle and divers

  • Snow and Ross geese

Season Dates:

  • Early Oct-Feb: Colorado goose and duck hunts

  • Late Feb to end of March: Spring Snow Geese

Closest Airport and the time it takes to travel to/from:

Denver International 60 miles approx. 1 hour

Lodging/Accommodations:

Hotel/Motel Booked By Client

We have discounted rates with hotels within easy driving distance from our hunting locations. Client provides transportation to and from hunting locations, bird cleaning and gratuity is not included.

What to bring:

We suggest #2 steel with open or IC type chokes.

Waterfowl Daily and Bag Limits:

  • Canada geese 5 per day

  • Ducks 6 per day

  • Possession limits 3 daily bag limits

  • Spring Snow Goose Conservation hunts no limit

Terms:

50% Deposit required to assure the date with the remainder payed on the day of the hunt. We require a 2 gun minimum. We accept Checks for deposits as well as cash, credit cards.

State/Province Hunting Requirements (license, stamps..):

  • Colorado state small game license, state duck stamp, habitat stamp, Federal duck stamp and H.I.P. number

  • Nebraska state small game license, state duck stamp, habitat stamp, Federal duck stamp

Other Info:

We can handle large groups, and do have a few 9 man pits but most pits are 6 man so (1) guide per 5 guns. large groups over 5 may be split into 2 groups. We also have a 3 gun max. on duck hunts. Youth hunters UNDER 12 are half price.

No extra fees for non-hunters as long as space provides

Meals, bird cleaning and processing, transportation to and from the hunt location as well as guide gratuity are not included in the hunt package.

Dog/Retriever Policy:

We provide dogs, but a client may bring his/her own dog as long as the dog will remain steady in the exterior dog holes due to safety issues.
