Nick costas

I grew up in Richmond, Virginia in a house that didn’t hunt. I struggled with drugs and alcohol through high school and ended up getting sober in 2011. My sponsor in AA was an avid duck hunter and I began hunting with him and his buddy who was also in recovery. Waterfowl hunting has played a massive role in my recovery and my life.

After college, I moved to Montana and have been here since. My love for chasing waterfowl lead me to my career now as a photographer. Photography has blessed me with the opportunity to travel and hunt many different areas and meet some awesome people along the way. Aside from my part in Split Reed, I used to work full time as a photographer/videographer for Divebomb Industries, and now own/operate Thunderbird Outfitters in Saskatchewan.
